VERTICAL LOADING QUENCHING TANK
Vertical Loading Quenching Tank Model PQT are companion quench tanks for Pit Type Gas Carburising / Hardening Furnace Model PGC and PGCF.
A very large oil circulating pump is provided to draw the heated oil from the tank and to force it through a heat exchanger. Cooled oil is floated into quench tank through a specially designed bottom pipe. The agitation thus provided tremendously helps to avoid hot spots and poor metallurgical results.
The tanks can be used for hot quenching by providing oil heating assembly.
The prevent fire from improper use, carbon dioxide curtain is provided.
